Faked email blockings contain Trojan

Avira issues a warning about a mass mail that threatens to block emails – and tries to foist a Trojan on the user
Tettnang, 3 December 2008 – A mass mailing that makes Internet users feel insecure, as it threatens to block email addresses.
Emails that have a subject line tailored for the recipient “Die E-Mail Adresse <email@adresse.de> wird gesperrt” (translation: "the e-mail address <email@adresse.de> is blocked”), has an attachment called “hinweis.zip” (“note.zip”) that contains the Trojan TR/Dldr.iBill.BW, Avira recognizes this with the virus definition file 7.01.00.172. There are also variants of this email in circulation which contain the Trojan TR/Dldr.iBill.BV, Avira already recognizes these with the VDF file 7.01.00.170 of 1 December. The recipients of this email should delete it and not open the file attachment.
