New version 9
The Q1-2009 version will be release as "Version 9".
Version 9 because we are going to introduce a lot of new features, we rebuild all the modules; we moved to a new and more flexible updater, changed paths, registry entries etc. to be more flexible with product names and so on.

Migration Scenario
Version 9 cannot be installed over an existing version 8. Reason for this is that we use a new updater, new paths, registry entries etc.
Because of these changes customers have to migrate to the version 9: this means they have to deinstall the old and reinstall the new version. This will for the most part be done automatically.

Since Avira AntiVir Server and Avira AntiVir Professional are based on the same source code the Q1-2009 server version will also be release as "Version 9".
The upgrade to the version 9 requires a migration.
